Surf Culture (SHACC)
A leave-behind pamphlet promoting Surf Culture—Transcending the Wave, a permanent exhibit to coincide with the Surfing Heritage and Cultural Center’s upcoming facility expansion in San Clemente, CA.
Historically, surfers have been considered a fringe group with lower than average education, income, and socio-economic impact. While celebrating the people, objects, music, language, fashion, and the lifestyle surrounding the sport of surfing, Surf Culture—Transcending the Wave shows us that these historical anecdotes are a myth and that surfing has a substantially larger cultural and economic influence than once projected.
